Knovel now allows customers to pick the application technology of their choice. When the subscription is entered into Knovel’s internal Customer Access Management (CAM) system, the Salesperson (customers do not have access to CAM) will indicate how to configure the subscription by selecting the Interactive Type, as shown;
There are four choices as shown. Static Image allows for NO interactivity and is rarely used. The User Defined option gives users the MOST FLEXIBILITY since the Format Options dialog Window comes up for each and every user session. The recommended format is Flash. Your selection can be made the default by clicking the check box. Should you change your mind the default can be reset by clicking the Help Center button on the Knovel Toolbar and selecting Reset Your Default Preferences.
