Become a K-Friend

groups, and beta testing

WHAT IT IS:
Knovel invites you volunteer to become a K-Friend.
The new K-Friend program is comprised of new and
experienced users of the Knovel online service.
K-Friends are asked to participate in filling out
surveys about the Knovel service. K-Friends may be asked
to participate in focus groups, and many are offered
advanced access to new products in advance of their
release for beta testing and feedback.
HOW IT WORKS:
Fill out the form on the right. We realize we're asking for
quite a bit of information...but we'll make it worth your time!
Starting in September and lasting through December of 2006,
Knovel will contact those who have signed up to offer various
options to participate. Some will be invited to fill out one or
more survey forms online. Some may be invited to participate in
a focus group discussions by phone or in person. And some will
be offered the opportunity to test new products in advance of
their release. We respect your time and will not ask you to make
a major time commitment. You are free to opt out of further
participation at any time. We appreciate any time you might
devote to helping us create an even better Knovel user
experience.
WHY YOU MAY WANT TO
PARTICIPATE: You get to voice your opinions and help
Knovel create "the next generation" of online services for
engineers and scientists! You also get to use really cool
products before they are released to the general public. And,
you will receive a reward/gift for your participation, if your
organization allows it. For some users, organizational policies
prohibit any kind of remuneration or gift. We will respect your
organization's wishes. However, it will be our delight to offer
various rewards and gifts to those who can accept them. We are
not quite ready to announce what they will be! However, when we
start the program in September, we will contact all who have
expressed interest to let them know. Rest assured we will make
it worth your time.
